Testimonial: We were married on May 28, 2011 and i could not have been happier about our choice of reception venue. The entire evening was absolutely beautiful, everything was exceptionally well coordinated by extremely profficent and friendly staff, the food and cake delicious, and all our family and friends were treated as royalty. My new husband and I have been showered with postive compliments; many of our guests have told us that our wedding reception was the best one they have ever been to. The staff at the Crown Room, especially Gina and Steph were wonderful to work with. They helped us to accquire everything we wanted for our day, and helped us keep to our reasonable budget. I especially appreciated their reccommendations of other vendors, such as our DJ Adam Wells, and photographer- Unique Moments Photography. I highly appreciated the fact that these professionals had all worked together in the past and were familiar with each others' work and style. The fact that the Crown Room has an in house kitchen, highly talented chef, and in house pastry chef was a giant plus for me as I was confidant than the dinner and desserts would be held to the highest standards and I was not disapointed! We also had many out of town guests attend, which was also exceptionally easy to coordinate their stays at the Hampton Inn & Suites next door to the Crown Room. Their rates are very reasonable and the honeymoon suite was beautiful!!! It was a short, yet memorable walk for the wedding party post-reception. It was easy to plan the wedding reception of my dreams at the Crown Room, and I would highly highly reccommend the site to any other bride (and groom). You will not regret a moment of it!

Having lost our original reception venue due to contract disputes, we began our search across the West Metro. We kept coming back to the Crown Room and hands down this was the best decision we could have ever made. Gina and Steph were quick to make us feel comfortable, and put our minds at ease. This is definitely the most organized wedding reception venue in the Twin Cities. Questions are answered quickly, and attention to detail was above expectations. They handle everything for you, from setup to teardown; there is nothing to worry about. They were even able to do the impossible. The catering staff is beyond professional. When plating the head table, they place the plate at each person’s place setting in synchronization (it was absolutely amazing). Upon arrival you are greeted and congratulated. They are quick to introduce, ask questions, inform you of situations, but avoid being annoying or cumbersome. Truly the staff at the Crown Room is well trained, well prepared, and very professional in how they interact. Honestly the evening could not have gone better! Had we been at any other venue, or if the Crown Room\'s staff was performing at a lower level than what we received, our event would have been nothing like what it was. Due to the wonderful service and willingness to work with the client, our guests were given an evening of fun and memories. I have received more compliments on how this was \"the best wedding I\'ve ever been to\", a big part of this was thanks to the Crown Room. Oh and the food, yes the food is amazing. The flavors make your mouth water and the presentation is stunning. This venue was worth every penny that we invested. If I had to do it all over again, I would pick the Crown Room hands down over any other venue, regardless of cost. They truly left us with a wedding to remember.

Supply drop-off was stress-free and exciting as Gina and Steph wrote detailed notes about every supply we had. We left that day with fabulous advice and feeling confident that everything would be perfect! When we arrived at the Crown Room on our wedding day we were completely blown away by the attention to detail and royal service we received. The staff treated us, our wedding party, and our guests like kings and queens. EVERYONE was impressed by the little surprises, DELICIOUS food, and incredible service from the time we arrived to the time we left. Everyone we love was able to completely relax, enjoy themselves, and let the staff take care of all of the details... that was really important to us! Testimonial: The location is convenient to the Twin Cities area and all of Central Minnesota, right off Interstate 94 and Highway 101. This was important to us as we had guests coming from North of St. Cloud. It offers ample parking with choice of coat check and valet parking services as well as a coveredentrance. Close to both shopping and reasonably priced hotels. The building is beautifully decorated and well maintained. The main ballroom has a high ceiling with wooden beams, large dance floor and huge fireplace. The windows to the outside and access to patio eliminate that closed in ballroom feeling. The spaciousness of the place makes you feel like you have your own private property…no cross traffic from other hotel guests, etc. Even the restrooms received high marks for spaciousness,cleanliness and the wonderful towels. The large entrance and little café settings were utilized early in the day for our wedding party to enjoy a quick lunch while shooting group photos on the spiral stairway. Later in the evening these areas were perfect for small groups to have quiet conversations and an area for the traveling photo booth to be set up as well as the gift table and display of the marvelous wedding cake so lovingly designed by Rosa. We received many complements on the cake and all the food. Definitely not your typical wedding food. Everyone was impressed with quality, taste and presentation of the food as well as the fast, exceptional service. Repeated comments from our guests pointed out the gracious staff, their assistance with any request and attention to detail was incredible, they take pride in the service they offer and it shows. Gina and Stephanie, I would be remiss if I did not write a few quick notes about you both. Your willingness to work with us and our budget. Your versatility allowed us the felexibility we were looking for. Having never planned a wedding before, the tools and check lists you provided were helpful. The ability to call or email you with any question was key in nailing down all the things that make a wedding perfect. The warmth you showed and care you gave made this a personal connection with this bride. The care you put into planning and executing the fine details made it possible for all our familes to really enjoy this very special day. We would definitely give high recommendations to this location for anyone looking for just the right spot for their event.
